Faith Bible Church is led and shepherded by a plurality of biblically qualified elders who serve the church in unity in order to nurture the spiritual good of the flock, all for the glory of Christ.
Jon Buck, Elder/Teaching Pastor
Jon began attending FBC in 2005. He graduated from The Master's Seminary (M.Div.) in 2012 and serves as the Teaching Pastor at FBC. Jon and his wife, Alyssa, have six children: Hannah, Katie, Sarah, Maggie, Abbie, and Emma. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and running.
Joe Koh, Lay Elder
Joe was a co-founder of FBC back in 2002. He serves in a variety of capacities which include leading a Care Group, teaching Sunday School, and assisting with church finances. Joe is a vice president for a commercial plumbing company. Joe and his wife, Michelle, have three children: Taylor, Kellie, and Katie. He enjoys spending time with his family, any and all sports, and is a huge Angels and Ducks fan.
At FBC, biblically qualified deacons serve under the oversight of the elders to free them up (for their teaching and shepherding responsibilities) in a variety of helpful areas.
Jeff Brecheen, Deacon Overseeing Facilities
Jeff and his wife, Kathy, have been at FBC since 2008. He serves as our facilities deacon. Jeff is a local business owner. He and Kathy have three children: Jeffrey, Matthew, and April.
Joel Giesbrecht, Children's Ministry and College Ministry Intern
Joel Giesbrecht serves as part-time Children's Ministry and College Ministry Intern. He is originally from British Columbia, Canada. Joel met his wife, Jenn, at the Master's College and became a part of the FBC family while they were dating. They moved back to California after three years in Canada to be part of the church while Joel attends The Master's Seminary. They have two children: Jude and Aletheia.
Jason Park, Equipping and Youth Pastor
Jason serves as the part-time Equipping Pastor, as well as the Youth Pastor. He joined FBC in 2015. He is a graduate of UCLA, The University of Iowa, and The Master's Seminary (2005). He also works as the director of an educational center in Laguna Hills. He and his wife Jane have four children: Jacob, Abbey, Noah, and Ethan.
